I got "Jimmer Negamanee" from the movie Escanaba In Da Moonlight (about the Soady family deer camp in Michigan's U.P.) It made very little money in theaters and critics panned it citing too many fart jokes. I use it because my name is Jim and I’m from Michigan (but not the U.P.)

Shed hunting. No tag necessary and the season is always open. It's great. I'm no shed-whisperer like Grong or some others I've seen on CW.com but I have fun every time I go out. It's especially fun taking my son.

Although I've always kept my eyes out for them, I hadn't found any until 2006. After yet another unsuccessfull weekend shed hunt, my son and I started picking up garbage in the forest to haul out. Our next time out we found a bunch. The personal photo here is of the boy on our first successful trip. We were hooked. We now always pick up garbage on these trips to keep the karma thing going.
